International Accreditations and Certifications

The International School of Navarra is an international school officially licensed by the Spanish Ministry of Education and authorised by the Government of Navarra under school code 31015285.

Although teaching is mainly in English, our students also learn Spanish. Spanish Language and Literature, taught in both Primary and Secondary, follows the requirements established by the Department of Education of the Government of Navarra. Our students cover the same content taught in this subject in Spanish schools, providing a truly bilingual education. This also allows their studies to be officially recognised in Spain upon completion of Secondary School and Bachillerato.

The school is registered by the Spanish authorities as a “foreign teaching centre” and, since the 2023–2024 academic year, has been authorised to offer the IB Programme. The International Baccalaureate Programme is a two-year programme taken in Grades 11 and 12, following a rigorous academic curriculum and assessed externally. The programme is recognised in Spain and in most countries around the world, enabling our students to access public and private universities, both in Spain and internationally.

We are also accredited by MSA-CESS, allowing us to offer our students the American High School Diploma.
