Welcome to the International School of Navarra!

Welcome to the International School of Navarra. We are a small school nestled in the foothills of the Pyrenees, serving Pamplona and the surrounding area. We are unique in many ways, but perhaps the most important defining characteristic of our school is found in our name. Our community is made stronger by students and families who have just arrived from overseas working alongside students whose families have called Navarra home for generations. Quite simply: we are proudly international and proudly Navarran.

Like many small schools, we have small class sizes, but we are strong believers in the idea that while small classes are important, it is what you do with small classes that really matters. Our students are active, constantly moving and exploring, rewarded for curiosity and challenged to achieve excellence in everything they do.

Our classrooms all have glass walls, which allow me, as Head of School, to constantly get a sense of what is happening inside. You can tell a lot without even opening the door. You can see engagement on the faces of students. You can see when they are figuring something out. You can see how our talented faculty gauge learning and respond to student needs.

On our playgrounds and sports fields, and in our theatre, you can hear the chorus of multiple languages alongside the excitement of scoring a goal, making a new friend, or finding the courage to sing in a language that is not your own. Our students bring us incredible joy through their willingness to challenge themselves.

The best way to understand the International School of Navarra is to experience it firsthand. Watch learning unfold through the glass walls, be part of a Primary assembly or a Middle School House Cup, or, if you are lucky, glimpse a rehearsal as students prepare for a performance. What you will see is a school that knows who it is and is deeply committed to helping every student grow with confidence, curiosity, and purpose.
