📚 Book Week
The theme for this year’s book week is Books Speak Every Language.
🟡 All week
As part of our celebrations, we would love to invite parents and family members to come into the classroom and share a story in their home language. Your class teachers will be in touch with more information.
🟢 Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th – Book fair:
Children have the chance to purchase books from the book fair with the support of their class teacher.
If you wish to purchase any books with your child, you are welcome to visit the book fair on Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon from 16:30 until 17:30.
🔵 Thursday 27th: Bedtime stories PJ party
Children come to school wearing their pyjamas, and bring in their favourite bedtime story to share with their class. They may also bring a small pillow, a blanket, and a soft toy if they would like.
🟣 Friday 28th: Favourite character dress up.
Children dress as their favourite book character for the whole day. We encourage children to bring the book featuring their character if possible.
